NAWABSHAH: A joint team of Nawabshah police and Rangers arrested close aide of former president Asif Ali Zardari and former special assistant to Sindh chief minister, Ismail Dahiri, and his brother among 46 suspects here on Wednesday.

Police sources said that the joint team arrested Ismail Dahiri and others after a raid on his residence and recovered five Kalashnikovs, 12 magazines, dozens of mobile phones and other valuable stuff.

Daulatpur SHO Imamuddin Marfani confirmed the raid and recovery of arms but declined to share further details.
