HYDERABAD, May 31: The University of Sindh on Tuesday launched a multimedia centre at the Institute of Information Technology to facilitate scholars for holding conferences, seminars and workshops at local as well as national and international level and MPhil and PhD seminars. The centre will promote research culture at the campus and inter linkages with universities and research institutes of the country and live telecast of seminars.

The multimedia centre of the university is also interconnected with other institutes and departments.

The vice-chancellor of the University of Sindh said it was a great day for the university scholars.

The dean of the faculty of natural sciences, Prof Asif Ali Kazi said all MPhil and PhD seminars would be held at the centre and research scholars would deliver their lectures.
