TORONTO, May 30: Leading Pakistani cricketers, including skipper Inzamamul Haq and Shahid Afridi, are scheduled to visit North America next month to join Zindagi Trust’s fundraising drive in four cities, Dallas, Houston, Chicago and Toronto. They will be accompanied by Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Yousuf Youhana.

During their visit, the cricketers will launch a formal appeal for donations to Zindagi Trust which is helping underprivileged children in Pakistan.

They also dine with donors and important personalities during charity dinners to be organized between June 9 and 12.

The first fundraising dinner will be held in Dallas on June 9 and the second in Houston on June 10 before the cricketers arrive in Toronto for the June 11 event here. The last charity dinner will be held in Chicago on June 12.

Shehzad Roy, famous singer and founder of Zindagi Trust, will perform at the charity dinners. “I will sing for hours for Pakistani children who are in dire need of our help,” Shehzad said in his message.
