ISLAMABAD: A man murdered his older brothers over a property issue, police said on Friday.

Sayedullah and Fazal Elahi owned a house in Sohan area. Both had a dispute over the house and asked each other to vacate it after receiving their share.

They regularly quarreled over the issue after which one of them involved their older brother, who resided nearby, to settle the matter.

On Friday, the two men’s older brother came to their house to discuss the matter.

During the discussion, Sayedullah lost his temper, pulled out a pistol and opened indiscriminate fire on his brothers. He then escaped from the scene.

The injured, Kaleemullah and Fazal Elahi, were taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead. A case has been registered.
