KUALA LUMPUR, May 24: The seven-nation Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Cup tournament begins on Thursday afternoon with opening match between Pakistan and New Zealand at National Stadium in the Malaysian capital.

Besides Pakistan and New Zealand, Australia, hosts Malaysia, India, South Africa and Korea are competing for the title.

Fixtures:

May 26: Pakistan v New Zealand (4pm), India v South Africa (6pm), Malaysia v Australia.

May 27: New Zealand v India (4pm), Australia v South Korea (6pm), South Africa v Malaysia (8pm).

May 28: South Korea v Pakistan (8pm).

May 29: Malaysia v India (4pm), Pakistan v South Africa (6pm), New Zealand v Australia (8pm).

May 30: Malaysia v South Korea (6pm), New Zealand v South Africa (8pm).

June 1: Australia v South Africa (4pm), New Zealand v Malaysia (6pm), India v Pakistan (8pm).

June 2: South Korea v New Zealand (4.35pm); June 3: South Africa v South Korea (4pm), Australia v India (6pm), Malaysia v Pakistan (8pm).
