KARACHI: A small and mediocre four-race card has been drawn for the Gymkhana race meeting which takes place at the Karachi Racecourse on Saturday.

The Weekend Special Cup, which has attracted half-a-dozen horses, is the main highlight of the day’s programme. It is the third race in racing order.

With the exception of first race that will go over four furlongs, the remaining three races will be contested over four-and-a-half furlongs.

Altogether, 24 horses will vie for honours in the day’s races barring last-minute withdrawal.

Mamoon, formerly late Check 123 from Lahore, is the only horse that will make debut on Saturday.

According to schedule, the first race starts at 3.30pm.
