KARACHI, May 23: AKU Staff ‘A’ and Meezan Bank won their respective matches in the opening round of the fifth AKU Sports and Rehabilitation Centre cricket tournament on Sunday. Meezan Bank got the better of CDC by six wickets in the first match played at the AKU Sports Centre ground thanks to Saood Ahmed Khan, who took two for 34 and scored 68.

In the other match, AKU Staff ‘A’ defeated KASB Bank by 50 runs.
