PESHAWAR, Jan 8: Pakistan People’s Party will take legal action against former chief minister of the NWFP, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao for using party flag.

This was stated by the party provincial president, Khwaja Mohammad Khan Hoti at a Press conference here at his residence on Tuesday.

“Sherpao has no association with the PPP and the party will take legal action in that regard,” he maintained.

He said the former chief minister who was expelled from the party some three years back could not misguide the party workers through such tactics.

Hoti recalled that before that Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi was also using the party flag to misguide the party workers, but later he formed his own party. He asserted: “Let the election commission announce the date for next election, then the party will take necessary action.”

He claimed that PPP would sweep the next general elections. He said people were joining PPP and the party would become stronger.
