MUZAFFARGARH: The Anti-Corruption Establishment has registered a case against former foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar, her father, other family members and revenue officials in a land dispute on the complaint of her step-brother Malik Abdul Khaliq Khar.

According to FIR, the case was registered against Hina Khar, her father MNA Noor Rabbani Khar, brother Malik Raza Rabbani Khar and other family members and five revenue officials who allegedly tempered with record and transferred land illegally to Noor Rabbani Khar’s second wife and their children.

The applicant said he was a child at that time when the wrongdoing was committed.

The ACE department called the Khar family members several times but they did not appear while revenue officials did appear.

Malik Abdul Khaliq Khar contended that Noor Rabbani Khar divorced Zaibun Nissa, his mother and got 1595 kanal farmland (of his mother) transferred to his step-mother Sumaira Khar, Hina Khar and other members in four mutations during 1971 and 1983.

Noor Rabbani Khar rejected the allegations and vowed to contest the case.
