PESHAWAR: The National Accountability Bureau, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has decided to hold an open kutcheri at its Hayatabad offices here on Thursday to receive the people’s complaints about corruption.

The decision was made in line with the instructions of NAB chairman retired justice Javed Iqbal, said a statement issued here on Monday.

The statement said NAB, KP, director general Farmanullah Khan would hear the people’s complaints during the open kutcheri to be attended by members of the NAB complaint scrutiny committee.

The NAB urged the people to come up with written complaints about embezzlement of funds, fraud, bribery and irregularities in plot allotments.

It said the open kutcheri was to be held as part of efforts to eradicate corruption and discourage misappropriation, maladministration and misuse of power.

The NAB said it would continue investigating all corruption cases honestly to ensure the punishment of culprits.
