KOHAT: A man was gunned down by his rivals in the name of honour at the old bus stand here on Tuesday.

Police said that Raees Khan, Abdul Habib and Naeem Khan allegedly opened firing on Mohammad Kamran who died on the spot. The attackers escaped from the area.

Registering an FIR, sister of Kamran nominated the three suspects. She reported to the police that a dispute over a marriage issue was going on between the two sides.

The old bus stand is located in the city centre and surrounded by police checkposts, but even then the attackers fled away. The city police registered the case and have started investigations.
