LAHORE: The Punjab Boxing Championship for males and females will be held in Lahore from May 11 to 15.
The Sports Board Punjab (SBP) is organising the event with the collaboration of the Punjab Boxing Association.
The decision was taken in a joint meeting of the SBP and PBA held here on Monday. The slogan of the event is ‘Kaun Banay Ga Punjab Ka Boxing Champion’ (who will be the boxing champion of Punjab).
The fights will be held in all weight categories, separately in three different contests, namely Youth, Elite and Elite Female Class.
The registration for the boxers will start from Tuesday.
