LAHORE: While ten matches were decided in under-12 boys event, two matches were held in under-14 boys category on the first day of the SICAS Inter-School-Collegiate Tennis Tournament here at the PLTA courts in Bagh-i-Jinnah here on Tuesday.

In under-12 boys, Aqsa Akram beat Khurram by 6-1, Abubaker Khalil drafted 6-0 victory against Raja Daud 6-0, Hamza Ali outclassed Haleema Sajjad 6-1, Shahzeb ousted Ahmed 6-3 and Ameer Hamza earned a win against Mohammad Mustafa 6-4 to qualify for the next round.

In under-14, Muhammad Harris chalked up a 6-1 win against Hussnain Ali Rizwan, while Hamza Ali Javed proved too good against Syed Salman 6-1.
