ISLAMABAD: US Acting Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Alice G. Wells and Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance Dr Miftah Ismail on Monday discussed economic cooperation and overall security situation.
Miftah while welcoming Ms Wells, said that such bilateral visits enhance understanding of each others’ point of view on important issues and shared with her the current state of the economy. He informed her that the growth momentum generated during the last four years was likely to continue during the current year and beyond.

Dear PM of Pakistan,
What about enhancing exports? What about government subsidies and rebates? Why exporters are forced to bribe institutions to get back rebates? Why textile and leather industries have been suffering decline in exports? Why government failed to control inflation and failed to stable the value of Pak Rs. Why government is not interested in developing new public hospitals and educational institutes? Why government failed miserably to provide clean drinking water to public? Did you take concrete steps to curb land mafia?

Pakistan keeps mending ties and America and others keep coming back forgetful of any temporary unhapinessr they had,
The only sad thing is that all poor and heavily populated countries have too much corruption inside in which old and week suffer the most and some even die because of forced bribes on them.
