SUKKUR: The death toll in Wednesday’s roof collapse tragedy in Rohri rose to 13 when two more persons succumbed to their injuries during treatment at the Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Medical College Hospital (civil hospital) in Sukkur late in the night.

Eleven men, women and children were killed and about a dozen injured when the roof of a warehouse collapsed in the Agha Qadir Dad (dates) Market in Rohri. Two of the 12 injured labourers, Hazooran Shaikh and Ghulam Abbas Shambani, succumbed to their injuries late on Wednesday night, officials at the hospital said.
