Man killed in attempted robbery

FATEHJANG: A man was killed in a robbery attempt on Friday on Thana Road.

Malik Shakeel Ahmad, a former councillor, was sitting at his mobile shop when two robbers came and snatched cash and mobiles.

Although Shakeel overpowered one of the robbers, the second one opened fire on him killing him on the spot.

The police claimed that they had arrested one of the robbers.
