ISLAMABAD: Teach for Pakistan (TFP) and National University of Science and Technology (Nust) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), forming a long-term partnership to work together and tackle problems such as educational poverty and inequity for the country’s children.
The MoU aims at facilitating Nust graduating students to participate in activities for TFP including applying to the fellowship programme.
TFP is a registered independent non-profit company and its mission is to recruit, train, and support outstanding Pakistani university graduates and young professionals to commit to a paid teaching fellowship for two years in under-served schools and communities across Pakistan, and become leaders in the effort to expand educational opportunity for children throughout the country.
TFP aims to be nationwide, starting from the federal capital, within the next five years.
