ROME, May 16: An Italian aid worker with the group CARE International was kidnapped in Kabul on Monday. The woman was abducted by four armed men, security sources in Kabul said.
Afghan police had earlier identified her as Canadian. The ANSA news agency identified the woman as Clementina Cantoni from the northern Lombardy region and said she was riding in a car with two other people of a different nationality. One of her companions was a Westerner.—AFP
