PESHAWAR, May 14: Helicopter of the NWFP Governor Khalil-ur-Rehman on Saturday made an emergency landing in Risalpur after it developed some technical fault. According to a spokesman for the Governor’s House, the helicopter with governor, military secretary and additional secretary on board, had taken off at 10am for Abbotabad.

After some time, the chopper developed a technical problem and the pilot had to make emergency landing in Risalpur, he added. There were two members of crew.

After the emergency landing, the governor put off his Abbotabad visit and returned to Peshawar by road.

The governor was scheduled to attend the launching ceremony of Abbotabad Integrated Development Vision as chief guest.—APP
