Lahore Qalandars

Published March 2, 2018

I WAS rather disappointed to watch the poor performance by the PSL’s 20/20 team, the Lahore Qalandars, which collapsed against the deadly bowling of the PSL’s team Multan Sultan in a match played at the Dubai Cricket Stadium on Feb 23.

I was dismayed on watching the Lahore Qalandars’ poor performance against Quetta Gladiators on Feb 24. Lahore Qalandars disappointed cricket lovers yet again on Feb 26 when its batting collapsed in the match against the Karachi Kings.

Being a Lahori, I support a team from Lahore but unfortunately Lahore Qalandars have not come up as a team since the PSL was launched in 2015. I am sure the sponsor and management of Lahore Qalandars 20/20 team are doing their utmost to improve the team’s performance to make it a PSL trophy-winning team.

Even the induction of big names like Aqib, Javed Akhtar and Shoab Akhtar has not helped Lahore Qalandars. It is hoped all participating teams of the PSL will achieve such a success that international cricket will return to Pakistan.
