LAHORE: Navy defeated Wapda 3-1 in the sixth match of their volleyball series in Dera Ghazi Khan, according to the results received here on Saturday.

The sailors won the match 25-19, 22-25, 25-22, 25-20 to level the seven-match series 3-3.

After struggling in the first set as Wapda led 17-13, Navy bounced back aggressively to grab points after points to win the set.

Wapda made a comeback winning the second set but from thereon, Navy kept Wapda under pressure and seized the remaining two sets to win the match.

The last match of the series will be played at the same venue on Sunday.
