KARACHI: Despite a brilliant 99-run knock from Akbar Khan, lady luck deserted Good Luck CC as Karachi Disabled CC sealed a seven-wicket win in their Federal Sports Trophy Cricket League here on Tuesday.

Akbar was agonisingly deprived of a deserved century at the KCCA Stadium by a single run when he was dismissed for 99, a 60-ball innings which contained five sixes and seven fours, as Good Luck CC reached 212 all out in 39.2 overs.

However, Karachi Disabled CC easily reached the target in the 39th over with Danish Ahmed (66, four boundaries) and Arif Richard (57, four fours) leading the way.

Meanwhile, in another fixture at the TMC Ground, Mansoor Sports defeated Delhi City Gymkhana by six wickets.
