GILGIT: The Anti-Terrorism Court on Monday sent Gilgit-Baltistan Supreme Appellate Court Bar Association President Ehsan Ali Advocate on judicial remand till Feb 26.

Mr Ali, who was arrested on the night between Sunday and Monday from his home in Jutial Gilgit, is wanted by police in an FIR registered against him on Jan 8 for sharing a post on Facebook which allegedly hurt religious sentiments of people, and attempted to spread sectarian issue in the region.

He was presented before the ATC judge Raja Shahbaz Khan who sent him on judicial remand till Feb 26.
