SAHIWAL, May 10: An Indian peace delegation was accorded warm welcome here on Tuesday. Addressing a reception hosted by tehsil Nazim Aamir Shahzad Rana, delegation leader Darshan Singh demanded free movement of people by eliminating visa. He said both the countries should divert their resources on the welfare of their people instead of armaments.
Mr Singh said he started peace march from Delhi with 70 members and covered 495 kilometres. He had 12 members left with him and hoped that they would continue their journey to Karachi.
Later, Mr Singh and Mr Rana exchanged mementos.
