GUJRANWALA, May 9: Over 51 cholera patients have been admitted to the local DHQ Hospital during the last three days in critical condition. Reports said cholera had erupted in and around the city and remote areas mostly affecting children of 10 to 12 years of age.

According to senior medical officers, the disease has erupted owing to dirty and contaminated drinking water. They advised people to use boiled water.

ARRESTED: Ahmad Nagar police claimed on Monday to have arrested the man who had killed his wife and three daughters.

Ehsanullah of Kalewala village had escaped to Lahore after killing his wife, Tanzeela, and three daughters — Naila, Kainyat and Kiran.
