Take charge of your decisions

This is regarding the article “Take charge of your decisions” by Sadia Maqsood (YW, January 6).

The writer discussed practical aspects that every decision-maker must know before taking a wise decision.

It is of utmost importance that every individual, while taking a decision, should brainstorm and come up with several possible choices that are available, and keeping in mind that in every decision, there is always a positive and negative outcome as future consequence(s).

In most cases, we are unaware of the consequences of our decisions because we blindly take them and they have a bad result. So, in my opinion, a person should always take advice from others and then take a decision that is the best for them and society.

How important are grades?

This is with reference to “How important are grades?” by Syeda Armeen Naseem (YW, December 30).

Yes, it is true that grades are significant, but not every time. Failure is not the opposite of success, it is also a pathway to success as we learn many things from it. To achieve success, one has to face and overcome difficulties. So one should not be discouraged, and instead become courageous and a self-motivator.

A person is not a failure until and unless one stops learning and gives up.

Behave well with servants

This is regarding the letter “Behave well with servants” by Kashaf Khurram (YW, December 23). The letter rightly expressed the need for sympathy and humanity towards the poor. Servants and the poor also have the right to get respect from everyone.

Contrary to this, very often the poor are treated badly and humiliated by the rich. They scold them as if they are not human beings. These are not ethics or manners. Through my letter, I want to convey to all the readers to be humble to the helpers in their houses, show sympathy and always help them.

Word search

Young World is an amazing magazine. children learn a lot from it every week. This is regarding the “Word search” (YW, December 30). I found it interesting, however, it was very, very easy. I found all the words in seconds. So it is my request to the YW team to give difficult words so that it really becomes a challenge for kids like me to search them.
