BADIN, May 8: District Nazim Kamal Khan Chang has said the district government will allocate an ample amount in its budget for providing treatment facilities to thalassaemia patients. He was speaking at a gathering at the Thalassaemia Carrier Centre, Badin, to mark the World Thalassaemia Day on Sunday.
The thalassaemia centre in Badin was established by the Hussaini Blood Bank, Karachi, in collaboration with the USAID and the district government. —Correspondent
