RAWALPINDI, May 6: Four passengers were killed and 11 others injured when a Gujrat-bound wagon overturned in the jurisdiction of the Mandra police station on Friday, Police said the wagon (AJKE-5686) with 15 passengers on board was going to Gujrat from here. The driver of the wagon in a bid to overtaking a flying coach lost control of the vehicle which overturned at Baandh Mor in Mandra, resulting in the death of four passengers.  

The passengers trapped in the wreckage of the wagon were pulled out by rescuers and shifted to different hospitals in Rawalpindi Gujar Khan.

Three of the dead were identified as Lal Mohammad, Asghar Ali, Asim Bukhari while the identity of the fourth victim could not be ascertained.

The injured were identified as Saif Ali, Ashraf Ali, Roma Bibi, Ijaz, Abdul Qayyum, Mirza Bashir, Asif, Imran, Sajeer Mehmood and Mirza and Khurshid. The identity of the 11th passenger could not be known. the injured.
