ISLAMABAD, May 5: First Lady Sehba Musharraf on Thursday awarded certificates to wives of 27 army officers who completed a course on volunteers development for social work and psychiatry treatment to the patients admitted in hospitals. An ISPR statement said a ceremony was held at Signal Officers Mess in Rawalpindi to award the certificates.

Begum Sehba Musharraf appreciated the efforts of those who had organized the course aimed at training volunteers in social work and providing psychological treatment to patients in hospitals.

She said a patient who was already ill and physically weak needed lot of care, social work and psychological treatment by the doctors and others, but due to many factors it was not being done.
