ISLAMABAD, May 5: A special committee of the National Assembly has been constituted to suggest ways and means for provision of regular offices, essential staff and other facilities to the MNAs. The committee met under the chairmanship of Riaz Fatyana in the parliament house here on Thursday.

The committee discussed the architectural design of the proposed office complex of MNAs prepared by the Capital Development Authority and suggested various modifications in the design of the complex.

Mr Fatyana asked the CDA to incorporate the suggestions of the members in the design of the complex.

The committee took a serious note of the delay in submitting required information by the provincial governments about provision of office facilities to the MNAs in their respective constituencies.

The meeting was attended by Kanwar Khalid Yunus, Syed Javid Ali Shah, M.P. Bhandara, Dr Freed Ahmed Piracha, senior joint secretary National Assembly Secretariat and other officers of the CDA.
