NOWSHERA: Dissident Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader MNA Ayesha Gulalai has announced she will launch a new political party to serve what she called downtrodden people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

She strongly criticised party chief Iman Khan and Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and termed them ‘untrustworthy’ men.

“All ideological and founder members of PTI should gather on one platform to launch a new political party in the first week of January, 2018. All dissident members, including MNAs and MPAs, would be invited to participate in the general elections from platform of the new political party,” Ms Gulalai said while talking to mediapersons after offering Fateha on the death of Malik Hazrat, brother of businessman Pervez Khan.

She suggested that the new party name would be ‘Ayesha Tehreek-i-Insaf’, which would make struggle to enhance life standard of poor people and bring real change in the society. She said the provincial government had miserably failed to protect lives and properties of Pakhtuns. She alleged that the provincial government was busy in corruption and looting national exchequer under the leadership of Pervez Khattak. She claimed that Mr Khattak and his family had broken all records of corruption in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

To a question, she insisted that the establishment would support Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf in coming elections to bring people like Imran Khan into power.
