Six killed on LoC: India

JAMMU, May 3: Indian troops shot dead six “infiltrators” in a firefight along Line of Control (LoC) on Tuesday, the defence ministry said. “Indian border guards spotted six infiltrators having sneaked into our territory,” a ministry spokesman said in Jammu. “They were challenged to halt but instead they started indiscriminate fire on our soldiers. “Our troops retaliated killing all the six infiltrators on the spot.”—AFP
