WITH Jehangir Tareen, the right hand of PTI chief Imran Khan, disqualified and Mr Khan declared honest and trustworthy by the the apex court, neither the PTI nor the PML-N can claim they have the upper hand. The PTI is now in a better position in the political arena.
Mr Khan is the only leader who knows how to steer the country out of the crisis.

THE disqualifiction of Jahangir Tareen by the Supreme Court on mere technical grounds is unjustified. Mr Tareen is an asset to the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and his ineligibility to contest next elections will surely weaken the PTI position in Punjab as he is the most powerful person in the PTI after Mr Khan. Mr Tareen can go into a review petition, but for now he has stepped down from the PTI office on moral grounds.
A politician must understand that the court is not the best place to defeat the opponent. They should try to defeat the opponent through votes which are a democratic norm. Political parties should strive to amend Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution.

IN the Supreme Court decision against Jahangir Tareen, PTI chief Imran Khan has lost his ATM. Now Mr Khan is bent upon protecting him though the apex court declared him dishonest and a liar.
The PTI is still accepting rotten eggs of other political parties to make a new Pakistan.
