NAWABSHAH, May 2: A man told the judicial magistrate-I on Monday that he had not been kidnapped by MPA Ghulam Qadir Chandio as claimed by complainant Abdullah Chandio in his FIR.

Khuda Bux Chandio recorded statement in the court under section 164 CrPC, saying he was not kidnapped by the MPA, his brothers or relatives.

He said he came to know through newspapers that Abdullah Chandio had lodged an FIR for his kidnapping.

He said he was not farmer of Abdullah Chandio and recording the statement without any pressure.

The judicial magistrate-I ordered the investigation police to include the statement of Khuda Bux in the inquiry.

The imprisoned MPA’s lawyer, Ziaul Hassan Langar told reporters that the section 364 PPC was no more applicable after statement of Khuda Bux and they would approach the high court for the withdrawal of fake FIR.

Talking to reporters at the court MPA Ghulam Qadir Chandio said the case had been proved false after the statement and he had complete faith in judiciary and it was victory of justice.

Abdullah Chandio, president of the NPP Nawabshah, had lodged an FIR at the taluka police station against the MPA, his brothers, relatives and 25 others alleging that the accused had kidnapped his farmer Khuda Bux Chandio.
