ISLAMABAD, May 2: The Ministry of Science and Technology on Monday approved a Rs39.976 million project entitled “Strengthening and Upgradation of Pakistan Council of Science and Technology (PCST). The project conducts futuristic studies on various science and technology related issues and supports planning, evaluation and promotion of science and technology by providing analytical reports, suggestions and recommendations about concerned issues, the ministry said in a press release. The project is targeted to enhance the institutional abilities of the PCST to perform all its functions effectively. —Our Reporter
