LAHORE: The second day of Hum Bridal Fashion Week at a local hotel in Lahore witnessed some excellent bridal collections along with singing performances and celebrities as showstoppers.

The choice of background songs during the catwalk was superb and the audience not only enjoyed the music but the aura of fashion show laced with style, glamour and glitz.

The country’s top designers and retail brands displayed classic collections.

The first show of the second day had bridal collection of Amina Yasmeen by Mansoor Akram. The second collection was Raah-i-Ishq by Anees Kiani. It was truly inspired by Kiani Crown, the traditional coronation crown embellished with Iranian jewels. Then came the retail brand, Edenrobe, which presented its collection, ‘True Inspiration on the Runway’ which was followed by Crystalline by Aisha Farid. The first show concluded with Erum Khan’s bridal collation, titled Sahiba, that had a lot to offer regarding themes and presentation as it represented a woman who was an amalgam of delicacy and flattering strength.

The second show of the day started with Chinyere’s Thumri, followed by Demesne Couture’s Escape de Vivre 2017. The retail brand, Royal Tag, was next to present its collection, Modern Man. The day concluded with Lajwanti’s Sultana, a collection inspired by the grandeur of the Ottoman Empire.

The show had an impressive line of showstoppers, including Sumbul Iqbal, Uzma Khan, singing sensation Asim Azhar and talented Ahsan Khan. The starlets Iqra Aziz, Yumna Zaidi, Zara Noor Abbas, Asad Siddiqui, Sami Khan and Affan Waheed walked for Aisha Farid. The charming Minal Khan walked the ramp for Erum Khan whereas the stunning Aiman Khan added allure to Chinyere’s collection. Nimrah Khan graced the runway for Demesne and the HSY was the showstopper for Royal Tag. The gorgeous and uber-talented Mawra Hocane concluded the day for Lajwanti.
