VC orders foolproof security at KU

KARACHI: University of Karachi Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Ajmal Khan on Wednesday visited all the gates, entry points and boundary wall of the university to check security condition.

He was briefed about the security situation and CCTV cameras installed at different places and boundary walls of the varsity. He instructed officials concerned to ensure foolproof security arrangements in the university and not to compromise over it.

He also discussed the patrolling system inside the campus and called for increasing security at the entry and exit points.

“Construction of boundary wall and watchtowers has already been approved, its tender has been given and soon work will be started in this regard”, said the VC.
