Crackers pizza

This is with reference to the Cook-it yourself “Crackers pizza” by Aamnah Arshad (YW, November 18). The recipe was very easy and hardly took one minute in the microwave oven, apart from the assembling and garnishing time.

The best thing about this recipe was that we could make the crackers pizza with the topping of our own choice. Apart from that, I would like to request the writer to also provide recipes especially for the winter season, such as hot chocolate.

Animals on clean-up duty

This is with reference to the article “Animals on clean-up duty” by Mohammad Niaz (YW, November 18). I liked the article as it was about the environment.

It is true that we hardly pay attention to a crow taking the leftover food in its beak or an ant taking some bits of food scraps or even the lizards eating the cockroaches and spiders in our house. If these animals or bugs don’t do their part, we would have been facing dire consequences.

The writer very nicely highlighted some scavengers and increased our knowledge about this topic.

Everlasting joy

This is regarding the story “Everlasting joy” by Drusham Fazal Karim (YW, November 18).

The story gave a great message of faith in selflessness. In this materialistic world, we get distracted with seemingly beautiful things, however, satisfaction comes only when we help others.

The curse of cheating

This is regarding the cover story “The curse of cheating” by Syeda Armeen Nasim (YW, November 4). It is sad that despite constant complaints about cheating in our schools, colleges and even some universities, the government and the education authorities have failed to take serious measures and this nuisance goes on.

It is on us now to keep raising our voice against this criminal activity otherwise, in the future, we will be working under some illiterate officers at the high posts.
