Saba Qamar continues to give a stellar performance as her role adds many layers in the serial. According to the channel’s sources the serial is currently trending at number two. Osman Khalid Butt has yet to make his much-awaited entry.

So far, the casting has proved to be perfect with Khalid Malik fabulous in a role which could so easily go overboard. Other supporting actors such Saba Faisal, Nadia Afgan, Ali Kazmi and Mani are also top notch. Tremendous work has gone in by Umera Ahmed (screenplay) and Shazia Khan (story), while hats must be doffed also to director Farooq Rind for his immaculate handling of the huge cast for this riveting mega-project.

What to watch out for

Qurban | ARY, Monday 8.00pm

Teasers of Qurban look promising as Iqra Aziz, Shahzad Sheikh and Bilal Abbas Khan appear together in an iDreams production.

Each of them has done some commendable acting this year. Following Dumpukht, Bilal Abbas is doing a fantastic job in O Rangreza opposite seasoned actors such as Noman Ijaz, Irsa Ghazal and Sajal Ali. Iqra Aziz has shown versatility in Gustakh Ishq and Ghairat.

Shahzad Sheikh is currently doing a multi-layered role in Alif Allah Aur Insaan and who can ever forget the heartbroken Gulrez in Mohabbat Tum Se Nafrat Hai that concluded recently.
