KDA & landgrabbers

Published November 17, 2017

OWN Karachi, encroach upon Karachi and enjoy in Karachi is the motto of landgrabbers. They are occupying government and public land in Karachi and have made people’s life miserable.

The KDA has surrendered before the mafia and failed to remove encroachments even from balloted and auctioned plots.

Allottees of Gulistan-i-Jauhar, North Karachi, Surjani Town and Korangi Town have been badly affected and despite several visits to the KDA office, they are made to run from pillar to post.

Landgrabbing is at its peak in the city and there is no one to control this menace. No FIR is lodged against landgrabbers who operate without any fear.
