ISLAMABAD, Aug 27: Political Officer, the embassy of the Untied States, Richard Snelsire, paid a visit to the central secretariat of Pakistan People’s Party here on Wednesday.

Mr Snelsire remained at the party secretariat for about one- and-a-half hours and exchanged views with the party leaders on various issues. The PPP leaders included Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari, MNAs Ghulam Murtaza Satti, Zulfiqar Gondal, and Kamran Zafar, in charge of the central secretariat.

Mr Snelsire was apprised in detail about the party’s stance on the issues of LFO, president’s uniform, Kashmir issue, the excesses being committed by Gen Musharraf on the opposition and the growing unrest among the people because of his policies.
