SUKKUR, Aug 23: A large number of people took out a procession in Naushahro Feroze on Friday against the police for not registering an FIR against Hesco officials whom they blamed for the death of two villagers.

Zulfiqar Ali and Ghulam Qadir had died when a high-tension wire fell in the Detho village three weeks back.

Leaders and activists of the People’s Party Parliamentarians, Pakistan Muslim League-Q and other political parties participated in the procession that started from the Bukhshoo Rind village and after marching through the main roads terminated outside the Naushahro Feroze Press Club.

They demanded that an FIR should be registered against the executive engineer and the line superintendent.
