The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to host two matches of the next Pakistan Super League (PSL) season in Karachi, DawnNews reported on Tuesday.

A senior PCB officials told DawnNews that the PCB is planning to host at least four fixtures of the PSL 2018 in Pakistan.

"Two of the matches will be held in Karachi whereas two others, including the final, will be held in Lahore," said the PCB official.

The official confirmed that PCB Chairman Najam Sethi will meet Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday to discuss the arrangements for holding PSL matches in the metropolis.

"Najam Sethi will also take up the issue of security and coordination among the law enforcement agencies for the next PSL season," he added.

The players' draft will be held on November 10, in Lahore, whereas the PSL 2018 will be played in February next year.

Initially, the players' draft scheduled for October due to the T20 Global League which was to be held in November — but was later postponed.

Two Pakistan based franchises Durban Qalanders and Benoni Zalmi are set to participate in the Global League.
