RAWALPINDI, Aug 23: The district government has decided to give one month to the owners of all commercial plazas for removing illegal signboards from their buildings, an official source said.

“ By-laws of international standards regarding display of signboards and banners are being devised,” Tehsil Nazim Raja Hamid Nawaz said during a meeting. He said the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) would approve the designs of signboards for all the commercial buildings.

After the approval of the specific designs, the owners would be given one-month deadline to remove the previous signboards, the source said.
