KARACHI: A teenage boy was tortured and stabbed to death before being thrown in a storm-water drain in a Mauripur locality, it emerged on Friday.

The Shershah police said the body was found floating in the water in the drain.

The body was taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi where additional police surgeon Dr Qarar Ahmed Abbasi confirmed the victim’s age as around 17 years. He sustained stab wounds in his abdomen and neck, he added. Besides, there were torture marks on his body. The boy had died around two to three days ago, added the doctor.
