KARACHI: The national hockey camp resumed at the Abdul Sattar Edhi Stadium on Tuesday after a short break for Moharram holidays.

Team manager-cum-chief coach Farhat Khan told Dawn that two players, vice-captain Rizwan Sr and Rashid Mahmood have also joined the camp after they returned from Holland.

He said the team will practice in the morning to prepare for the Nishan-i-Haider hockey tournament which kicks off Wednesday.

The team will fly to Dhaka on Sunday to feature in the 10th Asia Cup hockey tournament which runs from Oct 11 to 22.
