TOBA TEK SINGH, Aug 20: Two widows allegedly murdered their father-in-law and brother-in-law on Wednesday morning in Chak 361-GB.

Rafia and Shamim told police that their husbands Tariq and Nasir were killed about six years ago by their brother-in-law Asif to become the sole owner of the property.

A case was registered against Asif on the complaint of their mother-in-law. However, she pardoned Asif and he was acquitted.

They said they disliked their father-in-law Shah Muhammad who pursued Asif’s case.

They said they planned to kill Asif and Shah Muhammad and developed pleasant relations with their in-laws.

They claimed that Asif brought poison after taking both of them in confidence to kill his brother Maqsood.

But, they gave Asif and Shah Muhammad drugged food and killed them around 4 in the morning.

Later, they went to their neighbour’s house and told him about the murders. The neighbour handed them over to police.

KIDNAP: Eight people allegedly kidnapped a married woman along with her seven children on Wednesday from Chak 396-GB.
