$100m MoUs signed at ITCN Asia

KARACHI: Numerous technology enterprises participating in ITCN Asia 2017 have signed memorandum of understanding (MoUs) worth over $100 million for starting collaborative ventures by combining their expertise and creating innovative solutions for industrial and social development.

The three-day information technology exhibition, which concluded on Thursday, attracted over 65,000 visitors, said a press release.

UK minister visits GSK factory

KARACHI: UK Minister of State for Trade Policy Greg Hands said on Thursday he would like more companies from Britain to operate in Pakistan, create jobs and support economic growth.

As part of his three-day visit to Pakistan, Mr Hands visited a local factory of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), a British pharmaceutical company. He is visiting Islamabad and Karachi to strengthen UK-Pakistan bilateral trade relations.—Staff Reporter

LCCI slams Nepra’s decision
