Two ‘militants’ killed

GWADAR: Two suspected militants were killed in the Tump area of Kech district on Wednesday, security officials said.

The militants attacked a check post of the Frontier Corps in Tump’s Rodbun area using automatic weapons. An exchange of fire ensued, resulting in the death of the attackers.

Security forces seized arms and ammunition from the militants’ possession, officials said, adding that the attackers belonged to a banned orgainsation.

The attackers were identified as Amjad Ali Baloch and Saeed Ahmed. Both were residents of Kech district.
