KARACHI, Aug 18: The newly appointed administrator of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Brig Maqsood Hussain has directed his team to work with reinvigorated spirit to further improve overall civic facilities for the residents.

The administrator gave outline of his plan on Monday. He urged DHA administration to bring quality to all their undertakings and ensure resident-responsive management.

He said that satisfaction of the residents should be the top most priority, as it was the real index to gauge efficiency and quality of services rendered by the DHA.

Brig Hussain emphasized the need of well managed and regulated administration for provision of the best civic facilities and higher residential standards in an aesthetically dynamic environment.

He urged the officials to set their priorities and focus on improvement of water supply, sewerage system and roads in the area. He expressed hoped that DHA staff energized with a vision and commitment would make concerted efforts to turn DHA into an efficient, friendly and well managed organization.

The administrator asked the management to maintain high standards achieved so far through hard work and continue running the show with accredited dignity and credibility.

The address was attended by all senior officers and key personnel of DHA administration.—PPI
